The College aims to include parents where possible in the all-round development of their sons.

Parents' specialised knowledge of their children makes them uniquely able to contribute to the partnership between the student, family and College staff in the interests of maximising each student's schooling outcome. The active participation of parents in the life of the College and the progress of their sons is welcomed, encouraged, even expected.

Religious formation follows the Catholic system and most students are Catholic. The individual belief of each boy and the right of families to their own values, attitudes and beliefs is respected. Congruence between the home and the College is crucial for the proper formation of students of St. Aloysius' College.

St Aloysius supports the following associations:

  • Parents and Friends (P&F) - The P&F contributes greatly to the sense of community and friendliness at the College by organising functions aimed at bringing the Aloysian family closer together. Educational issues are discussed at regular Forum meetings.

  • St Aloysius' Past Parents Association (SAPPA) - SAPPA is a network of past parents who hold regular social gatherings to maintain contact with each other and the College.

  • St Aloysius' College Old Boys Union (SACOBU)
