The Development Office at St Aloysius’ College was established to raise funds and other resources to support the academic, capital and endowment needs of the school. This is accomplished through the annual fundraising appeals conducted by the Office (the Aloysius Annual Fund, the New Parents Appeal etc), special events as well as capital appeals and bequest program. The Development Office also communicates the College’s mission, vision and activities to Parents, Old Boys, students and the wider Aloysian Family and general public through The Aloysiad magazine, The Gonzagan weekly newsletter, SAC E-mail News, e-mails and the media.

All donations to St Aloysius’ College, regardless of the size, make a difference in so many ways and make a difference in so many lives. They have provided the opportunity for many young men, for whom it would not have been economically possible, to receive the gift of a Aloysian Jesuit education. Each generation has benefited from the generosity of the generations that went before it, and through continued fundraising efforts, many more generations will benefit as well. Keeping up with inflation, maintaining the facility, meeting the challenges of technology and most importantly, providing this education to all who desire are just a few of the challenges and inspirations that keep us focused on the need to raise money. Charitable gifts to St Aloysius’ College are wise investments in the current and future education of our children – and our communities.
