Year 7, 2017
Starting a new school can be an exciting and sometimes nervous time for students and parents. To assist your family with your transition to St Aloysius’ College there will be an orientation morning for all new students entering Year 7 in 2017. This will be held on Wednesday, 26 October from 8.30am-1.00pm at the Senior School Campus, 47 Upper Pitt Street, Milsons Point. Please register for Orientation Day in the grounds of the Wyalla Building.
New students will share classes and activities with current Year 6 St Aloysius’ students, providing an opportunity to make friends and explore their new school.
Students are to wear their current 2016 school uniform. They may either bring a snack for recess or buy it from the canteen. If students wish to stay for lunch they may either bring their own lunch or order it from the canteen. If your son would like to order his lunch on Orientation Day please submit their lunch order in a paper bag with money inside and present it to the canteen on their arrival at 8.30am. The Canteen Price List is available for download.
Parents are invited to the New Parents’ Information Session which will be held in the College Chapel located in the Senior School from 9.00am–9.45am. After the information session, parents are invited to attend morning tea and take the opportunity to meet families who also have a son commencing at the College in 2017. At the conclusion of morning tea parents are not required for the rest of the Orientation morning. Parents will need to return to the College by 1.00pm to collect their son(s).
The College looks forward to welcoming you on Orientation Day and to the building of a positive partnership between St Aloysius’ College and your family in the formation of your son.
