Orientation Day for Years 3 to 6, 2020

Starting a new school can be an exciting and sometimes nervous time for students and parents. To assist your family with your transition to St Aloysius’ College there will be an Orientation morning for all new students entering the Junior School in 2020. This will be held on Wednesday, 30 October from 8.30am to 12.40pm at the Junior School Campus (29 Burton Street, Milsons Point).

New students will share classes and activities with current students, providing an opportunity to make friends and explore their new school.

On the day, your son will need to:

  • wear smart casual clothing
  • wear closed in sports shoes (no black soles)
  • bring a hat
  • bring a small back pack
  • bring something for recess
  • bring a bottle of water
  • bring his pencil case and pencils

The Junior School Canteen will be open and students may purchase from the Canteen if they wish.  A sample menu is available here: Canteen Menu

Parents are invited to the New Parents’ Information Session which will be held in The Boys' Chapel located in the Senior School from 9.00am to 9.45am. After the information session, parents are invited to attend morning tea and take the opportunity to meet families who also have a son commencing at the College in 2020. If you would like to attend the morning tea please Click to book!. At the conclusion of morning tea parents are not required for the rest of the Orientation morning. Parents will need to return to the College by 12.40pm to collect their son(s).

The College looks forward to welcoming you on Orientation Day and to building a positive partnership between St Aloysius’ College and your family in the formation of your son.
