One Winter sport is to be selected from

The Athletics season falls between the Winter and Summer Season in Term III. It is not compulsory for students to participate but they are strongly encouraged to do so.

Senior School Summer Sport

Basketball

Teams are fielded in each age group from Under 13s to Opens. Most games are played on Saturday mornings.

Cricket

Teams are fielded in all age groups. Teams practise on synthetic cricket nets and turf wickets. Games are played on both Saturday mornings and afternoons.

Swimming

The College Swim Team trains under a qualified coach twice a week and competes in regular carnivals. The College hosts an annual invitation carnival in Term IV. The season officially commences in Term IV and concludes with the CAS Championships at the Sydney International Aquatic Centre in early March.

Water Polo

Teams participate in the CAS/GPS Competition. Most games are played on Saturday mornings.

Senior School Winter Sport

Athletics

The team trains three times a week and participates in weekly carnivals. The season commences in the fourth week of Term III and culminates in the Annual CAS Championships at the International Athletic Centre at the end of Term III.

Cross Country

Training is held twice a week at school. The students participate in the combined CAS/GPS Competition culminating in the CAS Carnival in Term III.

Football (Soccer)

The College fields teams in the CAS Competition from Year 7 to the Opens. Training is held twice a week and all games are played on Saturdays, mainly mornings. All coaches have at least a Level 1 Coaching Certificate. Old Boys and senior level coaches assist the coaching staff. A professional Football Director has been appointed to oversee and run programmes throughout the age groups.

Rugby Union

The College fields teams from the Under 13s through to Opens in the CAS Competition. Training is held twice a week and all games are played on Saturdays, mainly mornings. All coaches hold at least a Level 1 Coaching Certificate and are assisted by Old Boys and outside coaches. Age Group Co-ordinators have been appointed to run programs for players, coaches and parents. 

Senior School Year Round Sports

Fencing

Students train twice a week and compete in Saturday tournaments when held. Numbers are limited and fees apply.

Tae-Kwon-Do

Students participate in training three times a week (including Saturday) at the College. Fees apply.

Tennis

Students participate in Tennis in summer and winter. Games are played on Saturday mornings.

Volleyball

Open teams compete regularly through summer and winter. Students selected must be in Year 10 (summer only) and Years 11 or 12, summer and winter.
