St Aloysius' College

The St Aloysius' College Old Boys' Union was created in 1905 to assist former students to maintain contact with each other and with the College. Members of the Union support the College through various activities and fund special projects, including an annual Careers Day for Year 11 students.

Old Boys of the College are encouraged to continue their involvement after graduation. Many assist with College activities on a regular basis.

There is an Annual Dinner organised each year to give Old Boys an opportunity to catch up with each other and to revive the "Aloysian" spirit.

Other regular activities held each year include the Father and Son Mass and a bar-b-que for boys who graduated during the previous year.

Details of SACOBU activities are included in the College diary and on the College calendar which can be accessed through this site.

Kickstart Kids International

Kickstart Kids International is a charitable organisation founded in 2008 by James Woodward (SAC 2003) to help 'kickstart' the lives of a group of orphaned children in Kenya. Today, Kickstart is running three programs in Kenya with three SAC young old boys involved in the charity.

A number of St Aloysius' College families and old boys have visited the Familia Moja Children's Centre (which James co-founded with local friends) and the College is actively involved in supporting Kickstart's work. Click the following link to visit to learn more about how our old boys are helping those in need in Africa.
